Domination Game

What exactly do you get for refering players?  

You personally won?t receive anything, but the person who gave you the link will receive 40 standby battalions when you win a game (only the first game).

The idea behind this is to try and get people to invite there friends (or website visitors) to join up and play.

Do you have any thoughts on what the new member should receive? - Personally I don?t think they should get anything (but I?m often wrong!)  

For new players it should be enough that they are able to win a game, they gain 2k points.
40 standby battalions are fine, so i shouldn't change that. why should a new player receive SB? you could then as well give them to everyone, which remove's the strategic part of them.

Thinkerman thought it might be fun to enter a game with first time players in it and bombard them with hundreds of battalions.  

Not that it matters much: his armies were quickly dismantled.

I'm terribly sorry Microphonemark, but i can't help it i'm so good. Next time i see you in a game, i'll join, and do whatever i can to be beaten, but i can't make promises.
